We partner with schools in the Los Angeles-area to provide in-school knitting and crochet curriculum to kids in grades K - 8. Our programs work as an after-school enrichment program or a supplement to your existing visual arts curriculum. Our teachers come to your campus for weekly workshops where we work with kids of all learning styles and grade levels, teaching the fundamentals of knitting, crochet, and other textile arts.

“My child has ADHD. She can not sit still and focus on anything for more than a few minutes at a time except knitting! Knitting calms her for hours at a time, and she has a smile on her face the entire time, which is a joy for me to see her accomplish something that she learned and that she loves.”

-Parent of 4th grader

“When observing my daughter finger weaving, I see her being very engaged, calm, and focused.”

“Crochet has provided an amazing alternative to screen time.”

-Parent of 4th grader

“My kiddo is neurodivergent, and needs something to do with their hands most of the time - otherwise they turn to finger biting as a stim. Crocheting has provided them with an excellent stim that is also skill building. They also love to share their projects with friends and family members, and feel proud when wearing their creations.”

- Parent of 4th grader

“We allow minimum screen time but before she starting knitting club she was often bored and troubled with what to do to occupy her time. Now she has a new found passion for knitting and goes to it every chance she gets.”

- Parent of 3rd grader

“My daughter loves knitting! It is very calming for her—and the same for her 8-year-old sister. They both get to be creative with colors and socialize with their friends very calmly. It’s excellent for decompressing after school.”
